Julia Memar

Julia Memar
Lecturer

Julia has been teaching first year mathematics at UTS for more than ten years, and also runs the Mathematics and Science Study centre and UTS Mathematics Bridging courses. She understands the hesitation and doubts students may have towards mathematics and knows how to build their “mathematics” self- confidence.

Julia’s motto is “hard work always pays off”, and she believes that anyone can do maths - if they apply themselves and work consistently. She holds PhD in Operations Research from UTS and has published several papers in journals and conference proceedings.
