Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners

UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people upon whose ancestral lands our university stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders, both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.

We have three different course types available:

A UTS Microcredential  is a formally assessed, stand-alone course in a specialised area of practice at the university-level and aligns with a specific subject in a UTS postgraduate degree. They average seven weeks in length and on successfully completing a UTS microcredential, you’ll receive a Microcredential Certificate and a Microcredential Digital Badge* that you can add to your CV or Linked In profile. Learn something new and become a certified expert, while joining a global network of lifelong learners.

UTS Open Short Courses support an array of life and work experiences, offered through a mixture of online, on-campus and blended study modes. Upon completion of all required tasks, assessments or attendance for a UTS short course, you’ll receive a Short Course Certificate and a Short Course Digital Badge*. A short course can be used as part of your continuing professional development or as a tool to obtain in-depth knowledge in whatever topic of interested. These courses are practical, industry-relevant and forward-thinking, taught by industry and academic experts - empowering you to explore any opportunity.

Our Free Online Courses give you a taste of a topic to get you up to date with key principles and help you decide if you want to study more in this topic area.
