Matineh Pooshideh
Lead Data Scientist

Matineh is a Lead Data Scientist at Truuth, located in Sydney. She is currently working on real-world problems related to machine learning and computer vision.

Matineh is also a Master of Research student at Macquarie University, working on complex research problems in the areas of computer vision and machine learning. She has extensive experience in tutoring at university, both in her Bachelor's and Master of Research in the areas of data science and software engineering.

David is a senior technology leader who holds an MBA and a Master of Cyber Security, which is complemented by more than 15 years of technology-focused leadership experience across diverse industries. His extensive background equips him with a deep understanding of operational and strategic requirements from both a business and technical perspective, along with cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance.

In executive roles including most recently Head of Corporate Services (CIO/CTO) at AC3-David has led enterprise-wide technology initiatives with a focus on risk management, business agility & resilience, and cybersecurity oversight.

Passionate about making technology and cybersecurity more relatable for regular people, David is dedicated to empowering leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to leverage technology for sustained growth and success. When it comes to cyber security, a perfect storm is brewing as the threat landscape continues to evolve faster than ever, fuelled by innovation, automation and the drive to the cloud. This is compounded by a cyber skill shortage and the growing reputational, financial and legal implications of a cyber breach for company directors and executives.

About this course

Cybersecurity awareness is vital for directors and executives from the board level, down. This course provides the relevant commercial and technical framework and mindset that organisations need to navigate complexities and achieve optimal returns on their investments in people, processes and systems.
