The following topics will be covered during the microcredential:
This course is delivered online using a range of resources, self-directed study and live interactive sessions with the academic. Course content will be presented to participants online in a variety of formats, including lecture slides, notes, videos and articles.
At the beginning of the unit, participants are expected to review materials and complete tasks on their own before attending online review sessions with the lecturer (sessions are spread over the learning period). Materials will be provided on the learning management system, but participants are also expected to seek information independently. Feedback will be given following formative assessment and during the online sessions.

Damian Bridge is a specialist in the disciplines of accounting and finance.
Damian has published in ethics and is also a member of the CFA Institute’s Discipline Review Committee. Academically, Damian holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Finance from UNSW. He is currently completing a Masters of Research at Macquarie University. Professionally, Damian is a Fellow of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Prior to joining academia, Damian worked for several the world’s largest financial institutions in Sydney, London and Toronto. Damian has provided professional education courses all around Australia as well as South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka.
