Evidence-based practice and culture

Making business decisions backed by data is a smart way to work. Learn to build evidence based practice and culture in your organisation and leverage workplace outcomes through rigorous research and evaluation. This interactive two-day university course brings scientific EBP learnings into the office.

About this course

Take the guesswork out of your workplace. Ground your organisation's decisions in rigorous research and evaluation. Be supported in bringing evidence-based practice and culture into your workplace through this two-day short course. Learn to make workplace decisions backed by scientific data. Absorb course material through two face-to-face days, an online community, and an after-course mentoring opportunity to seek feedback on your process implementation. Participants learn to implement organisational decision-making based on rigorous research and evaluation that is transparent and testable.

Course Structure

The structure is phased for optimal learning by initially developing a course community. This involves an orientation phase of reading and forging an online network before physically meeting.

Day one is face-to-face with case studies and participant interaction, providing opportunity for peer feedback and discussion, and shaping the content for day two.

Day two provides opportunity to share implementation issues, challenges during the early phase of EBP implementation and successful approaches. After the second face-to-face day, there will be a three-month ‘follow-up’ period. During this time you can request feedback on applying knowledge in your organisation
